Waiting for FB to wake up so we can go shopping and wanted to watch something funny. Thought I'd share. Sorry about the bad pic quality.

So this totally cheered me up at work today...H&M's spring line is going to include men's skirts! And the article had photos!
Oh, yes, FB and I will be doing a little shopping this spring ;p

It was wet cold and snowing for the first time this season yesterday and is snowing still this morning. I'm not ready for snow yet *grumbles*
FB's gone to Newfoundland for his work. I'm hoping this will help me get some things done but right now I'm just feeling a bit off. I asked him to look out for a hoodie or two for me for work :)
I have three hampers of clean laundry staring me down to fold but still haven't got to it...that will be my challenge tonight.
Tonight I am supposed to go to a dinner with the people from my dept at work, and this may sound harsh, but I spend 8 hours a day with them and none of them (except one) are anyone I'd volunteer my free time to spend with. I tried to gracefully decline but they are really strong arming to come. I am the only one in my dept doing work where I get dirty and of course the dinner stars right after work, giving me no time to clean up. Not to mention I am the only one invited who doesn't have a car and the restaurant picked is really far from where I live and will take me over an hour to get by bus.
Plus I really need to finish a few time sensitive projects at home and since FB is away I can really concentrate on them.
I will decline and just go home and get stuff done but this situation is making me blue.
I think the stuff the naturopath is giving me is actually helping and I'm starting to feel better. A few more things to deal with and I should be getting right as rain. ;) Thank goodness!

I had a miserable day yesterday and today. I tried really hard not to but fate or something just had it in for me and now I really just want to cry...

I'm going to shower, eat, and then hide away and draw and listen to happy music and maybe that will help...

It is such a common name that I always have problems with my doctors because when they call up my name on their computers someone else's file pops up and the secretaries get so confused.

4. My friends page is called ____ because ____. I have broken it into two sections; friends friends and friends communities. Makes it easier for me to find things depending on what I want to see.

1. When did you first get into bikes?
I have always loved bikes. I remember I was around 10, I had these clear plastic collectors cards of motorcycles I would wrap in an elastic band and carry around with me every where. The first guy I was interested in in high school, of course had a bike (lucky coincidence, honest ;p) and I would get him to pick me up from school (we went to different schools) on the bike and just drive around.

2. If you had to change careers what would you want to do?
Art full time. I draw mostly now but I would really love to paint more. I would also love to write/draw a manga.

3. You have a chance to go back in time and change one thing, what would you choose?
I would have ignored my parents saying college is a waste of time and I would have gone to art college.

4. You get to choose a lifetime adventure, what do you choose?
Travel around the world on motorcycles with FB.

5. When you want to pamper yourself, what do you do?
Buy books, buy art supplies. Call up my girls and go out to a restaurant and have a glass of wine, skip dinner and go straight to the dessert.
If I need to pamper myself because I'm having a blue day, I tell FB and he's pretty good at treating me somehow and pampering me.

Johnny Depp, he's real good at unusual characters ;p ...and I can be a bit manish ;p

2.What makes you laugh?
FB talking in different accents, it's crazy funny when he does it while ordering food over the phone and at drive throughs. Friends, they are the best. My cats, they are crazy.

3.What's your wildest fantasy?
I'm kinda stumped on that one. I don't really have fantasies, I use reading books as my escape. I've actually pretty much done all the things I've fantasied about, the rest are average and boring. Things like 'where is my next trip going to be'... Oh and I fantasize about being a really good artist, where I don't actually have to work at it, it just always comes out flawless.

4.What would you do if you won a million?
Travel. Open an art gallery and fill it with my art.

5.What's your favorite sport?
I'm not really a sports person but watching would be rugby, participating would be swimming and archery.

Off to get house cleaned then work on Christmas stuff. Yay

this is bunched from the last couple of weeks...

-Went to a hobby show, lent a friend (who used to be a sharp shooter) some money for a rather high tech pellet gun. He says he loves it and is actually impressed at how accurate it is.
-I wanted to buy a beautiful bonsai but it was 15 yrs old and I didn't want to kill it, because I still haven't perfected the 'keeping them alive' thing yet.
-Got that close to winning an electric scooter by flying my homemade paper airplane on to a model aircraft carrier, but it slipped off... :(
-New girl at work is grumpy and weird and I'm trying to figure out how to deal with her but it is hard to be around someone who is grumpy 6 hours out of 8. o_O
-I had a fabulous dream that my teeth were in good shape and healthy. This week was the real start to getting my teeth fixed. I will be getting gum grafting and braces soon.
-Didn't get too much done about Christmas, but what I did get done I'm really pleased with :) This weekend I will get lots done Christmas wise, I hope ;p
-Work was nasty on Friday. There was this huge rush to get something done that could have been started 3 days ago, only no one who knew about it said anything... And it involved chemical treating, so I got covered in nasty chemicals.
-Speaking of nasty chemicals...medical doctors are being rather unhelpful with some illnesses I've been experiencing so I went to a naturopath and she is very concerned that the chemicals at work are compromising my thyroid.
-I tried to get the people in my dept at work to do a secret santa but only a few people agreed :/ so it's off. They want to have a dinner instead but no one can agree on where or when, I didn't say a word, I just held back and watched...

And now for a little music ;)

The postal system here sucks and I have been known to be a bit slow (at times ;p) so the sooner I get the lists and addresses, the more likely it is you'll get an extra Christmas treat :):)

Had my hand mauled last night by Jack and Niko.  I had to break up a fight they were having.  It was the worst fight they  ever had.  I seriously thought they were going to maim each other.  Hand's a bit swollen and my thumb is stiff to move it, but I don't think there's any permanent damage.  lol

Looks better farther away.  LOL
A dog ate the baby pumpkin's stem (no, really ;p), and the pumpkin guts around it's brain aka squash dried up.
But it was fun  :)
